Shaina's Greenport Wedding

Love is strong and love in numbers is powerful. This is the gift of the bridal party. Positive vibes and love surrounding you, creating the perfect atmosphere. We have grown to favor our large bridal parties. Most of the weddings we book are 10 plus and although some may find this overwhelming, I thrive off of the energy. This particular day I believe we had fourteen total!

 I love to see the outcome; I love to see the happiness from so many surrounding the bride on this most special day. What an accomplishment to leave and know you created art for so many beautiful ladies. It is a challenge no doubt to please different personalities and hair types, but thats what makes it exciting. Each individual allowing us to take their vision and bring it to life or design a look for them. What is even more rewarding is when you know you are appreciated. This particular day, these ladies we warm, welcoming and definitely grateful. That made it easy.

I am so happy Shaina chose me to provide hair services. I knew I loved her when I had to bring my 3 year old to the salon in order to accommodate her for a hair trial on a particular day. Shaina and her mom were so sweet to Ava and so relaxed the entire time. All the more reason I am so grateful to her for allowing me to share these special moments of her wedding day. These photos are gorgeous (Susan Baker Photography).  The landscape this day was stunning, the weather was perfect and what a great location for a wedding. Greenport has been a favorite for myself and my family and we love to take the drive out and enjoy the town. There is a certain charm about the area and for Shaina I am sure this was sentimental. When she looks back on this day, I am certain that she will find her heart full. It is always an honor to be present for the moments of preparation. It is in these moments that I get the chance to witness happiness, laughter, tears, and excitement. I cannot help but anticipate how the day will unfold and so when I have an opportunity like this to view the photos captured, it truly makes what I do feel so rewarding.
