Winter Flew By and Then There Was... Adina's Wedding

If you read my last post you already know that I had all intentions of 2018 being the year for me to really make some time for myself after 5 1/2 years of a crazy work schedule. I am talking some new hair color, get myself back in some sort of exercise routine, nail salon appointments and a much needed shopping spree for some new clothes! I have been in straight mommy/work mode for a while and these things were just not a priority to me for a long time. With that said, I never expected to get pregnant so quickly with our third. Amidst the excitement of a new addition to our family, was a loud screeching halt to my ambitious endeavor of some sort of self preservation! I was so sick my first trimester and what a set back that was for my great big to-do list for winter. So many plans of preparation for the new bridal season, and so much I wanted to accomplish, but the only thing I was able to come out of my dark room for, was my scheduled weddings. Growing a baby is always a good cause to pause life when need be.

Luckily for me I received tremendous support at home from my hubby and family while I dealt with that crazy all-day sickness. My future brides were so understanding and so willing to reschedule hair trials in order to give me the time I needed to get better. My salon held up their end of the deal by holding down the fort and taking great care of my weekly color and cut appointments. Lastly, I received such warmth and kindness from my brides who had me styling their hair whilst feeling extremely ill with morning sickness. One of which was our beautiful bride Adina.

Anyone who knows me well, knows that nothing will stop me from showing up for one of my booked events. I will literally pull out all stops to ensure that regardless of what is going on around me, I give my brides my very best work and effort. This company, aside from my family, is my passion. I fully understand the trust our clients put in us to deliver on their wedding day. I try to lead my team by example, that it is a great privilege to be selected as a vendor, on such a special day in someones life. There is no room for error and when life throws you a curve ball (in my case hyperemesis gravidarum) you need to do whatever it takes to pull it together, seamlessly. Adina was patient, she was super compassionate and thoughtful. Knowing I was feeling nauseous she offered food and water to make sure I was comfortable. Adina was a vision. Rachel and Nicolette with me styling hair. This bridal party looked fantastic!

For Adina's mom, we chose to channel a Kendall Jenner top knot style. She totally rocked it! Didn't she?!

One service that we offer, that is quite a luxury, is a style change and/or touch up service. When our clients book this service, myself or a member of our team will arrive at the venue at a later time to touch up the bridal party and/or create a new hairstyle for the bride's reception. I think brides should consider booking this service more often. It allows her to experience two looks she loves and she won't look exactly the same in every photo throughout the day. Every bride deserves to feel like a queen on her wedding day. Adina had a style change, touch up service and even a new gown for her reception. We were swooning in the bridal suite over this entire bridal look!

I am so lucky to have amazing brides. I have had the opportunity of meeting amazing, beautiful women over the years! I truly love my work and love continuing to grow as the years go on. I hope that every bride booking our company experiences the love in Bridal Rush and the passion for our craft. I am feeling so much better, ready to jump back into this wedding season and so excited for whats in store for all of us in the months ahead. Lots of catching up to do.
